Yesterday I headed out to see Groundation at the Elbo Room in the Mission. Soooo Goood, and happy people too. Amazing grooves. I’s good to have some kick-ass live music. I got a ticket to go see Sly and Robbie play on Wednesday and hope to go out to see Ojos de Brujo tonight, hopefull I can score a ticket off someone who had too many or had a no-show friend. Setting myself up for a dejected walk back home but if I do get in I have high expectations. A mellow weekend, I gotta get out more. I’m still not super physically confident but I’m starting to jog across the street from them to time and dance to some reggae, that’s therapeutic anyway :) Good for the body, good for the mind.

Well it was a dejected walk back home, not so dejected, I cruised through tourist town instead of sketchy strip-club town (i didn't wanna be that guy), found a nice dark bar to have a Dead Guy Ale and read my Harper's which arrived on Saturday.
Reggae Good. Sly and Robbie on Wednesday!
