Franti's Travel Diary

A quick heads-up to any interested: Michael Franti of Spearhead took a trip to Iraq and Israel earlier this month. His travel diary is posted here. Worth a read for anyone interested in the goings on of that part of the world. And everyone should be interested.

Doesn’t sound like he talked to a single Israeli or challenge himself to look for anything he didn’t already believe before he left. This was truly a small and insignificant trip, not one of peace. It was a frivolous trip of a truly close-minded person who clearly just wanted to reinforce his own egotistical ideologies.

For example, today’s news:
“In a precedent-setting decision, Israel’s Supreme Court ordered the government on Wednesday to change a large section of its West Bank barrier, saying the current route violates the basic human rights of the local Palestinian population.”
