So my posts don’t pop up on the main page when I write things. I supposes that this is associated with my Junior Faculty status. I guess that I just have to get published more to secure my promotion!
Holy shit! I am a grad student again. I brought up grad school and not spending 5-10 years studying one paragraph of Kant or Nietzsche for 5 years, but I am again a student in graduate school.
However, I am in school for a professionsl degree, an MLS. I came to this decision because I did not actually learn to do anything in college. As an undergrad, I took a bunch of different classes and ended up taking more of areas that I liked and did not have a lot of busy work. But since college, I have found out that those stupid busy work classes teach your about the drudgery of the real working world.
So, I am on a quest to achieve professionalism or at least a better job that involves intelligence and less actual work!!!
